Drachselsried Christmas Fair

Sunday 7th December saw the yearly "Drachselsrieder Weihnachtsmarkt"
Christmas Fair take place on a cold and wet day.

Unfortunately there was no snow. Our village Bürgermeister (Mayor) gave a welcoming speech. This festival takes place on the second Sunday in December, and is a social point for all the local people to meet and talk, drink Glühwein. (Hot red or white wine, with herbs and rum).

Christmas time in Drachselsried

Today Drachselsried has it's yearly Christmas Fair (Weihnachtsmarkt) from 13.00pm in the village centre. (Dorf Platz) Pictures and news will be added shortly.
