A new page has been added to the site that lets visitors post comments about the village and the area around Drachselsried and the Bayerischer Wald. More information later.

Free Drachselsried listing for all local English language websites. I am planning the next pages for the Drachselsried website and will add LAW. This stands for Local Area Websites and will be a free listing place, with images and links to your site.

Full moon over Drachselsried

On the 10/11 of January 2009, there was a perfect full moon over the village of Drachselsried.

Using an Olympus SP-560UZ digital camera, I captured this image at1/100 F2.8.

It is COLD

Today, we finally reached -14C, This for Drachselsried is cold. Not a lot of snow, so cannot post those promised skiing pictures, maybe next week.
