Come to the greatest festival that Drachselsried holds, this month, from Friday 27th until Monday 30th. On Saturday morning until about 14.00pm, there is a large open air market with approx. 200 stalls, and the beer hall is open early. See you there.

Sunday was the Drachselsried Christmas festival
Every year on the second Advent, Drachselsried has it's own local Christmas festival, called Weihnachtsmarkt. This is when St. Nikolaus arrives. Local people, visitors, children and many local clubs meet, and drink a mulled wine or beer. Thank goodness this year the weather was dry and not cold.

Last major job before the winter
3rd November saw our local Gardening club plant 430 plants and bushes around the village of Drachselsried. Next year visitors will see many new trees and landscaping to make our village one of the nicest in the area.
